Our specialist engineers and technicians have had extensive experience in the conduct of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and understand that it consists of specialised models that look at the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) of performing maintenance tasks, under differing support scenarios. The analysis is used to determine the most cost-effective Maintenance Policy for a system or equipment. When conducting LORA, LES makes sure that we examine all facets of a task including; labour, training, contractor repair, transportation, inventory, facilities, non-economic factors and documentation for every disassembly and repair option. Our experienced logisticians understand the importance of getting this right and have performed LORA across many projects identifying key considerations, aimed at whole of life cost reductions and the simplification of repair and maintenance processes.
Our capabilities and knowledge have enabled us to develop our own software application to facilitate the analysis and generate efficiencies while developing the outputs required for LORA. Please view our software page for further information.
