General Position Descriptions

Logistic Engineering Services (LES) is a company that has built a reputation for delivering quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. LES has a number of opportunities for qualified and experienced personnel to become part of our Melbourne based team.

As part of the Team you will need to be professional, self motivated and dedicated to the on time delivery of quality outcomes. You will be expected to take on a variety of tasks within your skill set for various high profile clients.

Applicants must be able to satisfy the requirements for gaining a Defence security clearance.

Attractive and flexible remuneration will be negotiated with successful applicants.

Logistic Analysts

LES is seeking personnel with demonstrated experienced and skills in the conduct of Logistic Support Analysis, including:

  • Task Analysis
  • Maintenance Management
  • Reliability Engineering
  • Interpreting Technical Data
  • FMEA / FMECA
  • LORA
  • RCM
  • Defect Investigation
  • Data Analysis
  • LSAR

Applicants must have a technical trade background, as a minimum, with a proven ability to communicate in writing. Specialised and further training opportunities exist for successful applicants. Knowledge and experience in Defence or Defence Industry and familiarity with applicable Defence standards will be highly regarded.

Technical Authors

LES is seeking personnel with demonstrated experienced and skills in the design and development of technical documentation such as:

  • Maintenance Manuals
  • Operator Manuals
  • Spare Parts Manuals
  • Technical Instructions
  • Technical Plans

Applicants must have a technical trade background, as a minimum, with demonstrated experience in developing technical manuals and instructions. Knowledge and experience of Defence documentation standards will be highly regarded. Applicants may be asked to provide samples of their work.
